You can join our classes or schedule a one-on-one lesson anytime, year-round.
(1) Before you apply to UOL
If you have not yet applied to University of London, contact us before you apply. This may help you figure out if the LL.B (as a degree) and UOL’s distance learning philosophy are in line with your career goals, personal plans, or learning style.
Over the years, we have heard from many individuals who lamented that they had no idea that the university adopts a “hands-off” approach, or that it was only when they received the study guides that they realized that the learning philosophy, assessment format or subject material was “foreign” to them.
(Recently, in May 2018, a graduate applicant with an MBA contacted us after she had accepted the University of London admission offer, had paid for and received the study materials — and then realized that the study of law was not suitable for her.)
To help you decide if this is what you want, we offer a 1.5 hour consultation, and/or sample lessons.
Contact Us if you need our advice before submitting your application to University of London.
(2) When you are ready to begin your module(s)
If you have already been admitted to the LL.B program, and are planning to take the next exams, you can start with us anytime.
For each of the modules, we offer a variety of learning options: group (2 to 6 students), one-on-one, and four-session revisions (6 to 20 students) closer to the exam.
These are offered as live online sessions.
If our module instructor is in the same city as you, lessons can be conducted in-person.
(3) Revision classes a month before your exam
Our Revision Classes are held on two consecutive Saturday + Sunday weekends.
Typically, we begin revision about a month before each module exam.
For instance, if your Criminal Law exam is on May 2, our four-session revision will begin the week of April 2. If your Legal System & Method exam is on May 12, the revision sessions will start the week of April 12.
That gives you the option of joining an earlier revision group (i.e., the first two Saturdays/Sundays), or the later (i.e., third and fourth Saturdays/Sundays) before your scheduled exam. Or both.
You also have the option of live online, or in-person revision classes.
For the October 2018 and May 2019 exams, we will have in-person revision classes in three cities (NYC, London, and Hong Kong). (Dates and times to be announced in August.)
Live online revision classes are held as a group (of 6 to 20), or one-on-one.
