The University of London LL.B is a distance learning degree program with a difference:
- You can study for the degree anywhere in the world; and
- If you choose the Qualifying Law Degree track, you may qualify to practice law in England and Wales, and possibly in your home country* (and several other countries that also recognize this degree).
The Bachelor of Laws program offers both the standard route entry for those who do not have a first degree; and the graduate route for those with an acceptable first degree.
- The standard route requires 12 modules and can be completed in three years (if you pass all 12 exams).
- The graduate route requires 9 modules and can be completed in two years (if you pass all 9 exams).
If you intend to practice law, regardless of whether you are in the standard or graduate route, you should check with the relevant professional or statutory body in the jurisdiction where you hope to practise as ti whether this LL.B program satisfies, or contributes to, the academic requirements for legal training.
The University of London is a federal university comprising 18 member institutions.
Established in 1858 under Royal Charter by Queen Victoria, it is the world’s oldest distance and flexible learning body.
Currently, more than 52,000 students from 180 countries worldwide are enrolled in the University’s various distance learning degree programs.
