We provide one-on-one sessions, typically two to four sessions, depending on your needs, maturity level and preparedness in completing the module requirements.<\/p>\n
A one-on-one session is from 1.5 to 2 hours per session, and would be a discussion on, for instance:<\/p>\n
Our Dissertation instructors hold Doctorates in law, criminology, political science, or a field related to your topic, and are experienced Dissertation Advisers at the Doctoral level.<\/p>\n
This is an elective module taken in Year 3, where students submit a 10,000-word dissertation.<\/strong><\/p>\n It provides students with the opportunity to undertake in-depth research on a topic of their choice, which may be have been studied in a law module (currently or previously) but was not otherwise treated in depth in the normal course of studies.\u200b<\/p>\n Please note that the University may require a viva voce<\/em> (oral exam) if it is a borderline pass\/fail paper, or if there are concerns about the student’s integrity or misconduct (e.g., plagiarisim, etc).<\/p>\n
